[T-1] Jododaira, Urabandai Highland walks

Onogawafudodaki Falls

Concept
Enjoy trekking at the high altitude of Jododaira Highland, breathing in plenty of fresh air, and stay overnight in a 90-year-old mountain lodge "Azumagoya Lodge" at an altitude of 1576 m. In Urabandai, we will take you on a trekking course where you can enjoy waterfalls and lakes. You can also enjoy the stunning scenery of Lake Hibara and go to see the torii gate sinking into the lake. For the second night, you can choose from three different lodges in Urabandai.

Trekking tours (some parts are not as steep as mountaineering, but there are some slopes, so participants should wear clothing suitable for walking in the field).

Itinerary
Day 1
13:00 JR Inawashiro Station (meeting point)
14:00 Arrive at Jododaira, drop off luggage at Azumagoya Lodge.
14:15 Trek to Okenuma Pond and Mt Azumakofuji (1 hr 30 min walk. There is a slope.)
16:00 Arrive at Azumagoya Lodge and check in.
Azumagoya Lodge is reserved for the tour group.
18:00 Dinner (set meal style)
21:00 Lights out time (Lights out time is set in mountain huts to protect energy).

Day 2
7:30 Breakfast (set meal style)
8:30 Morning walk around the lodge
9:00 Departure from Azumagoya Lodge
10:15 Onogawafudotaki Falls trek (one-hour round trip walk)
12:00 Lake Hibara cruise or visit Morohashi Museum of Modern Art
13:00 Lunch
14:00 Visit Oyamazumi Shrine (30-minute walk)
14:30 Visit Hibara History Museum
15:15 Nakasenuma Pond trekking (1 hr walk)
16:45 BLG (Mt Bandai viewing area over Lake Sohara)
17:30 Arrive at accommodation
19:00 Dinner (time may vary)

Day 3
7:30 Breakfast (times may vary)
9:00 Check out. Goshikinuma Ponds trekking (1 hour walk there and back)
11:00 Viewing of the Hanitsu Shrine.
11:40 Arrive at JR Inawashiro Station (disbanding point)


*Occupation on day 1 is in a shared room for men and women (10 people) in the same area as the dining hall, one private room (max. 3 people) and as well as an attendant room (1 person), due to the mountain lodge. Toilet and shower facilities are shared. Travel agents are requested to inform and agree with their guests that they will be staying in this kind of mountain lodge, not a general hotel.

Tour conductor fee: JPY 31,050, room for tour conductor. No date variation. Meals are on a separate menu. If meals are on the same menu as the guest, the fee is the same as the guest and the room is single use. Maximum of one attendant per tour.

Excluded dates
Please enquire about exclusion dates during summer holidays, peak season during the foliage season and consecutive holidays, including Japanese holidays, as these dates may be excluded from tour settings.
*This area is in the rainy season from late June to early July.

Maximum number of participants: 13 + 1 tour conductor (maximum number of people staying at Azumagoya Lodge).

Payment method

a)PayPal

A PayPal invoice with a 3% payment fee will be sent by email. Please pay by credit card via the link on the invoice.

b) Bank transfer.
We will inform you of the bank account to which you should transfer the funds. Please note that bank transfer charges are to be borne by your company.

Payment deadline

10 days before arrival. If payment cannot be confirmed, the booking will be cancelled and the full amount of the booking will be charged.

Cancellation fees
All cancellations: 30% 31 days, 50% 14 days, 70% 7 days, 80% the day before, 100% on the day/no overnight stay
Reduction: 20% 7 days before, 50% the day before, 100% on the day/non-accommodation.

 

Customisation

Please contact us to customise your stay by increasing or decreasing the number of nights, deleting an existing stopover, or adding another stopover.

 

Transportation

The itinerary shows the tour departing and disbanding at JR Inawashiro Station, but please contact us if you would like to be picked up at Fukushima Station, Koriyama Station, Aizu Wakamatsu Station, Fukushima Airport or Sendai Airport.
